I own a 2000 BMW E39 and decided to change the headlights to those used in the “facelifted” version of the same model. Since then, problems with the battery discharging began. Despite the fact that it is new. Earlier I also regenerated the alternator. What is the reason for such problems?

I have a small problem with adaptive lights. The car was gently damaged, the lamp was replaced and all the modules were rearranged. Everything seemingly works, only the message “cornering illumination failure” pops up and the halogen does not work. When connected to the computer, several errors pop up. My question is whether it is necessary to code the controllers in some way, or is it rather a result of the impact and the module to be replaced?
