I own a BMW with an automatic transmission. When I start the car in the morning, I feel jerks when shifting gears (there is cold oil in the transmission). Should I be concerned? The second problem is the vibration of the brake pedal during a long drive (about 1000 km) and at speeds of about 80-100 km/h. Is this phenomenon normal or not?

I own a BMW 5 E39 with automatic transmission and for some time now when reducing gears, more or less at 60 km/h I feel jerks in the transmission. In addition, when accelerating quickly, while the engine speed is at 5,000 – fourth gear jumps in. Fifth gear only engages at 6,000 rpm. What needs to be done to make this stop? In my manual it says that you do not change the oil in the box, is this true?
