What is the reason for the error “Drive Failure. Go to service” on the BMW?

The display of the “Drive Failure – Go to Service” error coincides with the illumination of the check engine light and indicates a problem related to the vehicle’s drive train. Usually, the appearance of this message indicates that the drive has gone into failure mode, that is, the vehicle’s power and speed are reduced.
