Engine waviness vs automatic transmission oil change in BMW

BMW driver question

I am writing regarding an oil change in the automatic transmission in my BMW. I want to change the oil with you dynamically, what is the price of such a service? And the second important thing you need to diagnose a problem, because on the cold box ripples revolutions. When it warms up, it works properly. Will an oil change help? Perhaps the converter or something else needs to be replaced? Is there a chance to diagnose the problem before changing the oil?

The problem affected the BMW 530d E61, but it also happens in other models with automatic transmission.

Response from BM Cars service

We are able to send you the exact cost of the oil change after we receive your vehicle’s VIN number (last 7 characters).

Engine RPM waviness is usually not a transmission problem. Just changing the oil in the transmission, may not solve this problem. We always perform a full diagnostic of the vehicle before changing the oil. If you want to eliminate the problem of wavy engine RPMs, I suggest you schedule an appointment for this very purpose.
