Crackling in the radio speakers in a BMW – what is the cause and how to fix it?
BMW driver question
In my car, the speakers start to crackle after about 20. minutes of driving. If the music is turned on loudly, they crackle more and more annoyingly. What could be the reason for such a malfunction?
The problem occurred in the BMW 5 E60, but it can also happen in other models.
Response from BM Cars service
The problem you described suggests a malfunction of the radio or amplifier, which is part of the radio in the standard version of the E60. It is necessary to check the audio system on the diagnostic side and eliminate mundane faults related to improper removal of door upholstery or speaker installation, or even moisture leakage through the door soundproofing.
We invite you to take advantage of BM Cars’ services.
