BMW driver’s question
I’m struggling with a front suspension problem on my BMW E39 530i Touring car. The front ground clearance is way too high, about 3-4 cm compared to serial. According to the VIN, the car was serially equipped with the S227A (Sport suspension lowered ride-height) suspension option.
BMW driver question
My BMW had its DPF filter replaced with a new model from JMJ. After almost two months, the filter light on the dashboard came on. I filed a complaint with the mechanic, who stated that “the lambda probe and glow plug controller are defective”. After replacing these parts, trying to burn out the filter does not work. In addition, it turns out that the light comes on even without the engine running (on the ignition itself). Does this mean that the filter needs to be replaced once again?
BMW driver question
Some time ago in my car there was a problem with the right front door. Once they close, once they do not. I have already educated myself a little on where to look for the cause, but this is not where my question lies. Along with them, the right mirror stopped working. I can change the alignment, but when I put it in reverse gear, the mirror should lower, but it doesn’t. Do these two malfunctions have anything to do with each other? Please advise.
BMW driver question
I have a manual transmission and all gears work perfectly. There is only one problem with the reverse gear. I can’t reverse because the gear can’t be put into gear. How can this fault be solved?
The problem occurred in a BMW 5 F10 with a 2.0 diesel engine, but it can also happen in other models.

I have three problems:
Automatic transmission – six months ago replaced after failure. It locked up a gear and jerked terribly in lower gears. Now after the replacement there are similar jerks, when shifting from R (reverse gear) to P (park mode) and in lower gears. The jerks can be felt especially strongly when adding gas faster.

BMW driver’s question
The horn, multifunction steering wheel, seat heater, rear wiper and radio all stopped working at one point. I checked all the fuses and found no problem there. As far as I know, these components are not interconnected. What could be the reason for such a failure?
The problem was in a 1998 BMW 528 E39 touring, but it can happen in other models as well.
BMW driver’s question
The problem occurs during freezing weather. In my car with automatic transmission after putting R (reverse gear), sometimes D (gear for normal driving) the engine goes out. Clearly something is choking it, then it fires up normally. Only after the engine warms up does the problem disappear. Changes that have been made: new EGR, cut flaps, cleaned DPF, exhaust cooler, injectors, turbo. Zero errors on the computer. Please help.

I can’t open or close my car with the key fob. I know there could be quite a few causes. I checked the diversity antenna under the spoiler and made sure there is no moisture there. This module was replaced in 2014. I also opened the key itself and checked the battery voltage – it is about 3.2V. What could be the cause of such errors?
