I own a BMW with an N47 engine. I heard the timing rattle for 3 seconds after starting. After replacing the complete timing gear (no tragedy) it suddenly started “ringing”. The sound can be heard non-stop, but only after driving a long distance, that is, warming up the engine. As far as I know, it is impossible for the timing chain to stretch and shrink. Please advise.

The car after a long stop does not start. No possibility to turn the starter. The lights do not come on. It looks like a discharged battery. After charging the battery no change. The car had all the doors locked for a few days, but probably not locked from the remote control. Could this have been the reason for the discharged battery? How to start the car? At low temperatures, the engine is too slow to reach the optimum temperature. It reaches it after about 15-20 km, but after turning the air vents on to heat, the temperature drops again and stays at 3/4 optimum. I replaced the thermostat and the problem remains. I heard that this model uses another thermostat for a small system. Will replacing this part fix the issue?
