I have a question about led lamps. It is about the daytime running lamps so-called rings – one of the lamps (right) has a different shade of burning ring, the other glows normally. My question is, are there any inverters or bulbs that are responsible for these rings?

After changing the oil in the engine, I use Castrol 5W-30, I drove about 3 thousand kilometers. Then I added 1 liter and drove the car another 3 thousand kilometers. On the dipstick, the minimum appeared again. I checked the engine and there are no leaks there. My vehicle has a working DPF filter, the exhaust is clean, no smoke while driving. No DPF clogging message is displayed yet, which I’m worried about because I drive a lot in city traffic. I have not found any symptoms of strange engine behavior. What could be the cause of such high oil consumption?

I bought a used BMW 3 with two faults: an auxiliary water pump generates a short-to-ground fault and a shortage of boost. From what the seller told me, the “oil mist“ can damage the alternator and the main belt of the belt system. What could be the cause of such faults?

I would like to purchase a used BMW with 160,000 km mileage, but after a test drive I noticed the following two problems. The manual transmission reverse gear comes in very hard, you have to use considerable force. The second problem is vibration to the left and right of the transmission shifter at idle. I have owned a BMW 3 for a year and the car uses about 1 liter of oil (Castrol edge 0w40) per 1,000 km. My question is: is this the norm for this engine or is there something wrong with it?
The problem was with a BMW 318i E90 with the N46B20B engine, but it can happen in other models as well.

When the temperature drops below zero, there is a jerking sensation in my car for the first few kilometers. In addition, there is white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. The list of repairs I have done so far: remanufactured turbo, replaced thermostats, cleaned EGR, removed catalytic converter, removed intake flaps and removed DPF. I use BP ultimate fuel. There are no errors on the on-board computer. Please support.

In June 2016 I bought a BMW F30 320i with a mileage of 55 thousand km. The car in great technical condition. Is it a problem that after changing the oil and driving about 7,000 km I had to add about 0.7 liters of oil? I change the oil every year doing 11,000 km. This year I should change in September, but I have already driven 13,000 km and had to add about 1.8 l. The car has driven 202,600 km in 3 years. The first replacement was with castrol 5w30. At the second change I poured the original Castrol Edge 0w30 oil.
