On a cold engine after firing up I can hear some louder rattling, after warming up the engine the problem disappears. This happens whenever I start the car after a night out. What could be the cause of this? The problem affected a 2005 model E91 320d, but it happens in other models as well.

When changing gears (the worst is from 1 to 2 a little better from 2 to 3) there is a strange noise from the chassis as if the rear end and unfortunately jerks.
