Fading engine in BMW with automatic transmission – how to fix it?

The problem occurs during freezing weather. In my car with automatic transmission after putting R (reverse gear), sometimes D (gear for normal driving) the engine goes out. Clearly something is choking it, then it fires up normally. Only after the engine warms up does the problem disappear. Changes that have been made: new EGR, cut flaps, cleaned DPF, exhaust cooler, injectors, turbo. Zero errors on the computer. Please help.

The problem was on a 2011 BMW 520d F10, but it can happen on other models as well.

From the symptoms you described, it seems that the problem is in the operation of the automatic transmission. Throwing into Drive or Reverse (R) gear causes an additional load on the engine. If this effect occurs when frost is present, it may mean that the oil density is already inadequate and the torque converter clutch is locked.

To solve the problem, it is necessary to check the level and quality of the oil in the transmission. The solution may be to change the oil in the automatic transmission using the static or dynamic method.
